Aarrgghhhh… I know I am digging up yet another game system, but it was frickin’ “awes” (why am I picking up Ju’s lingo?)

I’ve been thinking/making urban/hive terrain for Inquisitor & it’s lead me onto this classic. You can download all the rules on the GW Specialised games website!

I think it could tie-in/expand the Inquisitor storyline with some gangs & outlanders. I’ve chatted to Ju & I know he is interested in Delaque while I’d use my Redemptionists!

Anyone else interested in a slow/occasional campaign?

I know! I feel a bit guilty toying with this idea too, but I never really played it properly back in the day and after having played a hefty dose of Rage I am really in the mood for it atm.

BUT, and I think we’ve spoke about this before, this is the great thing about the specialist games – you take a little time to put together your fleet/team/gang etc and then there’s basically nothing else to worry about and you can play whenever you fancy it. No need for massive armies or intense story driven campaigns.

I am interested in putting together a Delaque gang. I may try and do it while I’m up here in Nottingham, but some of the models I’m interested in using say that they require some serious modelling, which is heavily off putting…

I’d be well up for this. Always fancied giving it a go. I will d/l the rules this evening while shouting at England losing against Holland tonight.

I’ll have a gandalf at the gangs, but modelwise I’d like to custom make my own so will pick one and then make models to fit.

I’ve still got my genestealer cult gang  and all the rulebooks and a shed load of terrain. I’d be up for the odd game when it comes along. It is great how you can just pick up a game and use a personalised gang/team after ages away. I’ve probably still got all the old gang sheets…

So if I’m correct, we have/will have:

– Tubes with his Redemptionists
– Rob using his old Orlocks
– Snailracer with the genestealer cult
– Me with my Delaque (yet to be sorted)

Will be interesting to see what you come up with, pete. Looking forward to playing a game or two at some point! Playing Rage has definitely put me in a Necromunda/inquisitor frame of mind for gaming!

I bloody hate you. Just started flicking through the rules etc and now I really want to play. So much to do so little time.

Its bringing back all the memories. We used to play quite a lot of necromunda. And now I’m remembering i always wanted to try a spyrer gang….

Also the injury table is savage. 11-16 is dead. So that would be 1 in 6 chance of dying then…

I don’t think I played much, but I didn’t really enjoy playing as Pit Slaves. I did love the look of the game though!

Really look forward to playing too. I’m finally starting to get a few funds, so hope to save money and have money to be able to travel about a few weekends!

I hope we can get into a semi-regular routine where we can meet up every couple of months for a game of BFG, Necromunda and then some AHQ or inquisitor in the evening. Chuck in the odd 40k engagement and we can properly start to build on our story!

I had been looking at it since Inquisitor had been brought up. The really weird/stupid thing that I have found it that models/gangs are the same, if not more even without P&P, on ebay than the GW site. There are some really stupid guys out there bidding.

Anyhow I am printing the rules off as I type. Ive found a awesome (I’m not reverting to Ju-speak) site for forums & rules library Yakromunda (but you need to register but its really easy & quick).

I’m getting some great ideas for a chilled, fun, slow-paced (as in once in a blue moon) scenario & background.

Yakromunda looks like an awesome tool for running a campaign.

I spent sunday evening flicking through the pdf rules. It made me realise how much I enjoyed playing necromunda. It feels like the right balance of rules and detail with playing time and background/chararcter development.

One evening this week I will head up to my mothers loft and pull out all of my terrain etc and stick a phot on here. Reckon I can cover the dining table and really annoy emma :)

I’ve signed up on the forum. Necromunda was really cool, although we really do need to also follow through on our other game systems too! I’ll dig out my Orlocks when I’m next back, and will look into refreshing them. I’ll be interested to see if there are any decent non-GW (and similar) supplementary models available for them.
