Random aside which I only mention as I recall discussions on timers/timed turns in the dim and distant past. Recently I claimed my free Save Water Save Money pack from my local energy company. Included was a three minute timer, which made me think of Blood Bowl. Did one of the earlier editions mandate three minute or four minute turns?
If you aren’t interested in potentially saving a little money/water, then maybe you’ll want the free timer. Back in the day I recall these were selling for a few pounds on eBay.

I remember running the “speed blood bowl” test a few years back with tubes and pete and realised that 2 minutes was a very short amount of time to take a blood bowl turn, and that 4 minutes is a good amount of time to make a BB turn because it forces the player to be decisive without being able to calculate every option.
Although, from what I’ve heard, turn times are not really an issue these days. I’m looking forward to following the Orc League!
